TradeGroove Moderation and Enforcement Policy
Last updated: June 26, 2026
Effective date: June 26, 2026
This policy explains how TradeGroove may review content, respond to reports, restrict features, and enforce its Terms and policies.
1. What We May Review
TradeGroove may review:
- Listings, photos, profile information, categories, value ranges, locations, and wanted items.
- Messages, reports, blocks, ratings, reviews, trade signals, and completed-trade records.
- Account information, verification status, purchase activity, rewarded-ad activity, device or app integrity signals, and technical logs.
- Safety reports, moderation queues, photo checks, prohibited-term matches, and enforcement history.
Review may be automated, manual, or a combination of both.
2. Automated and Manual Tools
TradeGroove may use keyword checks, image checks, user reports, account signals, location signals, spam or fraud detection, app integrity checks, rate limits, and other tools to identify possible violations.
Automated tools can make mistakes. A listing or account may be approved, delayed, limited, or flagged for human review. Approval does not mean TradeGroove has verified the item, user, legality, safety, ownership, authenticity, or trade outcome.
3. Reports and Blocks
Users can report or block other users, listings, messages, or activity. Reports should be made in good faith.
Blocking may limit direct interaction, but it may not remove every historical record or prevent every indirect interaction. Reports may be reviewed with related account, listing, message, trade, and technical information.
4. Enforcement Actions
TradeGroove may take one or more actions, including:
- Asking for more information.
- Requiring edits to a listing or profile.
- Delaying publication pending review.
- Removing, hiding, demoting, or limiting content.
- Warning a user.
- Restricting listings, messaging, ratings, credits, boosts, Premium, purchases, or other features.
- Reversing credits, canceling promotions, or removing benefits connected to abuse.
- Suspending or terminating accounts.
- Blocking devices, payment methods, contact methods, or related accounts where appropriate.
- Preserving records for safety, fraud, legal, tax, accounting, dispute, or enforcement reasons.
- Reporting activity to law enforcement, regulators, app stores, payment providers, service providers, rights owners, or safety organizations where appropriate.
TradeGroove may act without advance notice when we believe notice would create risk, enable abuse, interfere with an investigation, violate law, or harm another person.
5. Serious Safety and Legal Issues
TradeGroove may escalate reports involving threats, violence, exploitation, sexual abuse material, stalking, credible self-harm risk, suspected trafficking, prohibited weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit goods, recalled products, hazardous items, fraud, identity theft, or other serious concerns.
If there is immediate danger, users should contact emergency services first. TradeGroove is not an emergency service.
6. Appeals
If your content or account is restricted, you may contact support@tradegroove.app with "Moderation Appeal" in the subject line. Include your account email, listing or trade details, and a short explanation.
TradeGroove may deny an appeal or provide limited detail if disclosure would compromise safety, privacy, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or moderation systems.
7. Repeat Violations and Evasion
Repeated violations, severe violations, attempts to evade enforcement, related-account abuse, use of fake accounts, harassment after being blocked, or attempts to bypass technical controls may result in stronger action, including permanent account termination.
8. No Duty to Monitor
TradeGroove may moderate to support safety and policy compliance, but we do not promise to review every listing, message, photo, trade, user, or report. Users remain responsible for their own content, items, communications, trades, meetups, and legal compliance.
9. Records
TradeGroove may retain moderation and enforcement records as described in the Privacy Policy and Data Retention and Deletion Policy. These records help us investigate abuse, prevent repeat violations, comply with law, protect users, and defend legal claims.
