We may disclose information:
- To other users as needed to operate listings, profiles, messages, matches, ratings, reviews, reports, and trades.

6. Ads, Analytics, Cookies, and Tracking
TradeGroove may use analytics and advertising tools, including Firebase Analytics and Google AdMob, to understand usage, measure ads, show rewarded ads, limit ad frequency, improve features, and support paid or ad-supported experiences.
Depending on your device, region, app version, and consent settings, these tools may use identifiers, device information, app activity, ad interactions, IP address, and similar data. If TradeGroove uses personalized ads or tracking that requires consent, the app must provide the required consent, opt-out, or device-permission flows before that data is used.
Web versions of the Service may use cookies, local storage, IndexedDB, pixels, SDKs, or similar technologies. You can use browser or device settings to limit some tracking, but some features may not work without necessary storage.
7. Push Notifications and Messages
If implemented, TradeGroove may send push notifications, email, SMS, or in-app messages about account verification, matches, messages, trade updates, safety alerts, credits, purchases, policy notices, and support. You can control some notifications in your device or app settings. Transactional and safety messages may still be sent where permitted.
8. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, comply with law, resolve disputes, enforce policies, maintain safety records, prevent fraud, process purchases, support audits, and preserve legitimate business records. See the Data Retention and Deletion Policy for more detail.
9. Deletion and Account Requests
You may request account deletion or certain privacy actions by contacting privacy@tradegroove.app. We may need to verify your request before acting.
Deletion may not remove information that:
- Other users already received or created, such as their messages, ratings, reports, or records.
- We must keep for legal, tax, accounting, payment, safety, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, backup, or enforcement reasons.
- Is retained in deidentified, aggregated, or anonymized form.
10. Your Choices
Depending on your location and settings, you may be able to:
- Update account, profile, listing, or notification information in the app.
- Delete listings or photos you uploaded, subject to safety and record-retention limits.
- Disable certain device permissions.
- Opt out of certain ad personalization through device settings or app consent tools.
- Request access, deletion, correction, portability, restriction, or objection where applicable law provides those rights.
- Appeal certain moderation decisions under our policies where available.
11. State Privacy Rights
Residents of California and certain other U.S. states may have privacy rights under applicable law. Depending on whether TradeGroove is subject to those laws, these rights may include the right to know, access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, or opt out of certain uses or disclosures of personal information, including targeted advertising, sale, or sharing.
TradeGroove does not intend to sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics practices may be considered "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale" under certain privacy laws. If those laws apply, TradeGroove must provide the required notices and opt-out mechanisms.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights, though some features may be unavailable if required information is deleted or restricted.
To submit a privacy request, contact privacy@tradegroove.app. To appeal a privacy-rights decision where required, reply to our decision email with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line.
12. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals. There is no uniform industry standard for these signals, so TradeGroove does not currently respond to all Do Not Track signals. Where legally required, TradeGroove will honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for covered browser-based activity.
13. Children's Privacy
TradeGroove is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information to TradeGroove, contact privacy@tradegroove.app so we can review and take appropriate action.
14. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials, devices, verification codes, and communications.
15. International Users
TradeGroove is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Do not launch outside intended regions without updating this policy and confirming legal requirements.
16. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date and provide additional notice where required by law. Continued use of the Service after an updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
