TradeGroove Prohibited Items Policy

This policy applies to listings, photos, titles, descriptions, wanted items, messages, profiles, trades, ratings, and any other activity on TradeGroove. You may not list, request, trade, promote, or facilitate prohibited items through the Service.
This policy is not exhaustive. TradeGroove may remove or restrict any item or activity that creates legal, safety, fraud, app-store, payment, reputational, or operational risk.
1. Illegal, Stolen, or Unauthorized Items
Prohibited:
- Stolen property or items you do not own or are not authorized to trade.
- Items obtained through fraud, theft, account takeover, identity theft, or unauthorized access.
- Items whose sale, transfer, possession, shipment, or use is illegal in the relevant location.
- Items with removed, altered, or obscured serial numbers where that creates legal or safety concern.
2. Counterfeit, Replica, and Infringing Goods
Prohibited:
- Counterfeit, fake, replica, bootleg, pirated, unauthorized, or knockoff goods.
- Items that misuse trademarks, logos, copyrighted works, celebrity likenesses, or brand names.
- Circumvention devices, pirated software, unauthorized digital goods, or access credentials.
3. Weapons and Dangerous Items
Prohibited:
- Firearms, guns, ammunition, magazines, explosives, fireworks, gunpowder, tasers, stun guns, firearm parts, firearm accessories, and weapon-making kits.
- Knives intended as weapons, switchblades, brass knuckles, batons, throwing stars, and similar weapons.
- 3D-printed weapons, weapon files, ghost-gun parts, conversion kits, or instructions intended to build weapons.
- Items marketed for violence, evading security, or harming people or animals.
4. Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco, and Regulated Substances
Prohibited:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, cannabis products, drug paraphernalia, prescription drugs, prescription devices, steroids, and regulated medicines.
- Alcohol, tobacco, nicotine, vape products, e-cigarettes, and related accessories.
- Supplements, chemicals, or substances marketed with unlawful or unsafe claims.
5. Recalled, Unsafe, Hazardous, or Defective Products
Prohibited:
- Recalled consumer products.
- Items that are unsafe, hazardous, contaminated, flammable, toxic, explosive, radioactive, corrosive, or otherwise dangerous.
- Products with known safety defects that have not been repaired or disclosed.
- Used child car seats, expired safety equipment, unsafe helmets, and other safety-critical items unless explicitly allowed by updated policy and law.
- Batteries, chemicals, paints, fuels, pesticides, fireworks, pressurized containers, or other regulated hazardous materials.
6. Medical, Health, and Personal Safety Items
Prohibited:
- Prescription medical devices, prescription medications, controlled health products, and regulated diagnostic products.
- Used needles, syringes, medical sharps, implants, body fluids, or biological materials.
- Items making unapproved medical, health, disease-treatment, or cure claims.
- Personal protective or safety equipment that is expired, recalled, counterfeit, damaged, or represented in a misleading way.
7. Adult, Sexual, Exploitative, or Human-Related Content
Prohibited:
- Sexual services, escort services, pornography, sexual content involving minors, intimate images shared without consent, and sexual exploitation.
- Human remains, body parts, bodily fluids, or items presented as containing them.
- Services involving surrogacy, adoption, trafficking, or exploitation.
8. Animals and Wildlife
Prohibited:
- Live animals, endangered species, protected wildlife, animal parts, ivory, illegal animal products, and regulated wildlife products.
- Items associated with animal cruelty or illegal hunting.
9. Financial, Identity, Access, and Data Items
Prohibited:
- Payment cards, bank accounts, checks, financial credentials, securities, loans, debt, cryptocurrency credentials, gift-card laundering, or money-transfer schemes.
- Government IDs, passports, licenses, birth certificates, Social Security numbers, identity documents, account credentials, passwords, personal data, mailing lists, or hacked data.
- Tickets, coupons, codes, or vouchers where transfer is illegal, restricted, deceptive, or violates issuer terms.
10. Services and Intangibles Not Allowed
Prohibited:
- Illegal services, regulated professional services without required licensing, academic cheating, hacking, surveillance, harassment-for-hire, fake reviews, fake followers, or deceptive promotions.
- Employment, housing, lending, insurance, medical, legal, or financial offers that require separate regulated compliance.
- Items or services intended to evade platform rules, law enforcement, school rules, workplace rules, or safety controls.
11. Food, Cosmetics, and Consumables
Prohibited unless TradeGroove publishes a specific allowed-category rule:
- Homemade food, opened food, perishable food, baby formula, ingestible goods, cosmetics, personal care products, and other consumables.
- Any consumable item that is expired, recalled, opened, tampered with, unlabeled, counterfeit, or stored unsafely.
12. High-Risk Items That May Be Removed
TradeGroove may remove or restrict high-risk items even if not expressly listed above, including:
- Items with legal-transfer restrictions.
- Items requiring age checks, licenses, registration, inspection, permits, insurance, or safety disclosures.
- Items that are unusually high value, frequently stolen, difficult to authenticate, or associated with scams.
- Items that app stores, payment providers, ad networks, or service providers restrict.
13. User Responsibilities
Before listing or trading an item, you must check whether it is legal, authentic, owned by you, safe to trade, not recalled, and allowed under this policy. If you are unsure, do not list it.
TradeGroove may ask for more information, remove a listing, restrict an account, preserve records, or report activity to authorities where appropriate.
